京都を拠点に制作する陶芸家・村田匠也は、幼少期より陶芸の環境で育ち、京焼における造形や線、仕上げに対する感覚を自然と身につけてきた。代々陶業に携わる家系に生まれ、確かな技術の蓄積の中で、継承と同時に自らの立ち位置を意識するようになる。

村田さんの茶器は、素直で静かな佇まいをもつ。澄んだ釉調、無理のない器形、迷いのない線。注ぐ所作の中で生まれる流れは穏やかで、茶の香りや味わいがそのまま立ち上がる。手に取ることで、器の意図が自然に伝わってくる。

Kyoto-based ceramic artist Takumiya Murata grew up surrounded by pottery, developing an intuitive understanding of the Kyo-yaki tradition’s attention to form, line, and finish. Coming from a family of ceramicists, he built a strong technical foundation while early on confronting the question of how to find his own place within that lineage.

Murata san’s tea wares have a quiet, natural presence. Clear glazes, balanced forms, and confident lines define the work. When pouring, the flow is smooth and calm, allowing the aroma and flavor of the tea to emerge clearly. These are pieces that feel right in the hand.

来自京都的陶艺家村田匠也，自幼便在陶艺的环境中长大，对京烧体系中关于造形、线条与完成度的严格要求十分熟悉。家族代代从事陶业，这样的背景一方面为他奠定了扎实的技术基础，也让他很早就意识到如何在继承之中，找到属于自己的位置。

村田的茶器作品自然而洗练。澄净的釉色、克制的器形，安静而精准的线条。实用性同样出色，出水时形成的流线优美顺畅，茶汤的香气与滋味也能被清晰地呈现，是那种一经上手便让人感动的茶器。
