Akari Karugane, a ceramic artist based in Tajimi City, creates works that evoke the delicate, painterly feel of Impressionism. Her pottery explores a subtle balance between control and freedom, emphasizing the textures of clay and rich, expressive colors. Her pieces are not only functional for daily use but also carry the beauty and presence of ceramic art.
