波佐見町三股郷を拠点に活動する急須作家、林潤一郎さん。彼は手彫りの土を基本に、自ら土を掘り、土を作り、焼締茶器や白磁茶器の制作に取り組んでいます。三股は古くから陶石が採れる地域であり、故郷の陶石の恵みを用いた作品は、三股の自然そのものを感じさせる仕上がりとなっています。
この「雅茶壺」は、作家が茶ノ路のために制作したオリジナル茶壺で、今回初めてお披露目となります。蓋の上のミニ茶壺にも小さな通気孔が付いています。
Junichiro Hayashi is a teapot artist based in Mitsumata, Hasami. He focuses on hand-crafted clay, digging and preparing the soil himself to create unglazed and white porcelain tea wares. Mitsumata is known for its rich history of pottery stone production, and his works beautifully reflect the natural essence of the region.
This is an original teapot created by the artist specifically for Road of Tea, and it is being unveiled for the first time. The miniature teapot on the lid also features a small vent hole.
